FAIRY TALE - ISRAEL / SIBIU FRINGE FESTIVAL

 'Fairy Tale' is a post-modern piece, about the emptiness of being, surprising in its theatrical approach; every act takes the plot into a different direction, and challenges the borders of theater.

A comedy, telling the story of the symbiotic and complex relationship between two actresses, who try, in spite of unexpected events and mishaps, to carry on with the show they are supposed to perform: "The Fairy Tale of Tina's Tragic Life". Tina, an ex-nun, had to leave in disgrace. One day she finds a revolutionary device which will change her life .Parallel to the plot of the play about Tina's adventures the symbiotic and codependent relationship between the actresses is being re-examined. This relationship will gradually surface between the lines, becoming more and more evident until finally overwhelming the show and ruining it .They stop the show and from this point on they improvise their personal relationship which naturally changes for each play.  At the end Sigalit and Judith reveal their authentic life. The play takes the audience on a journey from the world of fantasy legends to reality. By use of imagination, humor and references from western culture we witness the disintegration of the relationship between the actresses.
