INMATE is an art installation that combines several types of immersive experiences that viewers can have in a single set-up. Starting out from a research about what life in prisons in Romania and around the world is like, the INMATE installation brings together the real voices and stories of two prisoners from Romania and moreover, gives us the possibility to read letters and correspondence written in American prisons. In this way, we intend that through our installation you can have a unique experience from which you can deduce what life in prison means and understand more about the lifestyle that those incarcerated there have.
